Our Acting classes are for children 7 – 18 years and adults 18+ years. Our Acting classes explore group drama games and exercises, improvisation, devising and script work to help pupils to think on their feet and respond imaginatively to different scenarios through performance. Each pupil is encouraged and supported by industry professionals to become a more confident and well-rounded performer.
We are not a theatre school that constantly churns out productions. From experience we know it is far more useful for pupils to have time to focus on learning new skills and techniques which will enable them to develop as performers. We work towards an open class demonstration at the end of each academic year which family and friends are invited to attend.
Covering the basics and learning the essential skills to become a more confident and skilled actor.
Exploring different scripts, devising techniques and acting styles. Pupils are encouraged to accept that failure is part of the process and journey to success.
Rehearsing a selection of devised and scripted work explored throughout the year for an open class demonstration performed to family and friends.
