LIGHTS, CAMERA…ACTION! Our NLD signature classes are a great place to start your journey! These sessions introduce children to the world of Stage & Screen. Classes available for 3 – 18 yrs. Choose from NLD Minis, Juniors, Inters & Seniors. An exceptional weekly session for budding young performers of all abilities.

For young performers 6 – 18 yrs looking to learn more about the industry and take their skills to the next level. Each week pupils train for 3-hours in focused Acting, Singing & Dance workshops on rotation. PLUS special guest visits from casting directors & professionals to give pupils a real insight into the industry.

LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) is one of the UK’s oldest and most respected awarding organisations. Northern Lights Drama is proud to be a private LAMDA Examination centre meaning we can offer LAMDA Acting syllabus tuition and hold examinations at our premises in house in Hessle.

We offer holiday workshop days during half-term and Easter breaks and a week long Summer School each year. Our workshops are available for 4 – 18 years and always sell out so early booking is advised! Our workshops are a brilliant way to experience what Northern Lights Drama is all about!

NLD is now a Spotlight registered agency meaning we can provide a platform to submit our pupils for exclusive castings and opportunities to be seen by the UK’s top casting directors. The agency offers representation, support and guidance for emerging young actors 4 – 25 years.
